Similar in design to a signed Philadelphia piece by John Gostelow, this serpentine chest features a slight overhang, beaded edge on 4 graduated drawers (top locking), figured mahogany veneer top and drawer fronts, reed and ribbon carving on canted front corners, shaped ogee bracket feet matching the canted corners and solid brass lion's head pulls.
