This sophisticated pedestal table is based on one of the pieces of custom furniture that Thomas O'Brien created for the New York City apartment of a favorite client. A close reproduction, the table has a strong, classic 1920s silhouette, with a sculptural rectangular pedestal and handsome recessed panels along the gallery edge of the tabletop. Details include a rich book- and butt-matched swirl mahogany veneer top and elegant antiqued silver toe caps and casters. The Barbara Writing Table Top (2343-10) and (2344-10) are to be ordered together as one complete unit.The Barbara Writing Table is shown in optional Classic finish.
