Product Description: Hickory Chair HC7944-10 Miami Center Table Base Only - The Miami Center Table is the marriage of a Saarinen-inspired White Carrera marble top, with a tapered round edge along the circumference of the marble atop a stunning carved base. The marble is handpicked with a focus on finding the purest slabs of white with the finest vein details. The base is developed from an antique mirror with a quilted border. Mariette loved the dimensioning this technique brought to the mirror and applied it to the round, tapering base, giving the illusion of textural movement. Shown is the HC7944-80 top and the HC7944-70 base.
Collection Features: Like Mariette Himes Gomez herself, the internationally acclaimed designer, this signature collection for Hickory Chair is a study of elegant balance and contrasts. Her astute traditional perspective cultivated as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design, the New York School of Interior Design and as an associate of design luminaries like Edward Dureell Stone, Albert Hadley and Sister Parish is evident throughout her extensive collection. The Mariette Himes Gomez collection is a characteristically clean, more updated style portfolio that is crafted of the finest materials, and reflecting exquisite details and finishes. Each piece of this collection is a refreshing blend of classic style and contemporary significance.
