Arrowhead Poster Bed
The Arrowhead poster bed, from the Country Living, Stockbridge Collection was named after an historic home owned by Herman Melville, whom wrote Moby Dick while living in the home from 1850 to 1863.
The exuberant use of bobbin turnings on the posts of this canopy bed reflects the rural furniture makers skill with the lathe, producing a masterpiece of Americana. The canopy top can be removed to create a four-poster bed.
