Furniture Delivery
At Hickory Park we are dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience from the time you enter the store to the time your furniture arrives at your home. Our delivery teams are the best in the business and they will do everything they can to make sure the process flows as smoothly as possible.
In order to ensure a smooth delivery, there are a few things you can do to prepare-
- Confirm your address and that all the pieces you have ordered are being delivered when the company calls to schedule the delivery.
- Have payment for the delivery fee ready to go. We accept cash or check. When we call you to schedule the delivery, we will inform you of the delivery fee so there will be no surprises.
- If a piece/pieces are going up a flight of stairs, please inform the drivers ahead of time so they can prepare accordingly
- Measure the doorways, halls, staircases etc.. to ensure that all pieces will fit in the desired location
- Check that the floors, hallways and desired location is clear of any obstructions. If you have any pets, please ensure they are in a safe location and will not interfere with delivery.
Please keep in mind that while our team will help as much as they can, they are on a schedule and all existing furniture should already be moved/removed before delivery. Our team will not remove any pieces from the property. It should also be noted that due to liability and government regulations, if a piece exceeds 300 pounds, it is your responsibility to have extra assistance in getting it into your home.
