Product Description: Jonathan Charles 001-2-A00-GRC-BS The Abyss Single Pedestal Dining Table from Jonathan Charles' bespoke Water portfolio embodies an earthy elegance all its own. Unending symmetry and stoic simplicity come together in this expertly crafted pedestal made of oak solids and veneers. Wrapped in sumptuous hand woven grass cloth, Abyss is a one-of-a-kind statement-making piece for any living space. Pedestal can accommodate a round glass top 54-72 inches or a rectangle glass top 42-44 inches wide.
Collection Features: Rich with artful visual touches, the stirring Jonathan Charles Water Portfolio is flawlessly crafted and imbued with the luxurious textures of natural woven grasscloth, soft cream leathers, bone inlay and Koto veneers. This eclectic mix of materials, paired with sinuous and flowing architectural features reminiscent of waves, is a showcase of delightful dynamism with contrasting line and form. Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture works with artisans to design and manufacture the highest quality European antique replicas as well as unique transitional designs. Many of the inspirations come from original antiques that Jonathan Sowter discovers in his travels. Many times they will be reproduced as accurately as possible, while other times they will take a detail and design a completely new piece of furniture around the feature. Only the finest materials are used in Jonathan Charles. What makes Jonathan Charles different is their meticulous attention to detail and pursuit of high-quality construction. Their passion for detail is also reflected in the in-house brass foundry, in which they manufacture their own hardware so that when they design a new piece of furniture they can also design one-of-a-kind pulls, hinges, locks and even keys for that piece. With an emphasis on superior design, eclectic materials, and hand-crafted techniques, Jonathan Charles furniture is elegant, long-lasting and distinctive.
