Century Furniture is one of the world's largest privately owned manufacturers of upper-end residential furniture. Its broad line of wood and upholstered furniture consists of bedroom, dining room and occasional collections in traditional, transitional and contemporary styling. Now a third generation family owned company, Century is located in Hickory, North Carolina with over nine hundred associates. Windsor Smith is an innovative force in the design industry whose elegant interiors rethink the home for modern day living. Author of Homefront: Design for Modern Living (Rizzoli, 2015), she builds spaces that reflect their owner’s unique sensibilities while supporting their demanding lifestyles. Her environments for leaders in the entertainment, business and technology worlds balance classic and modern styles as well as ideals. A lover of antiques and time-honored rituals, her rooms reinvigorate the bonds of home amidst changing everyday patterns and advancing technologies. Architectural Digest named her book, Homefront: Design for Modern Living, as one of the 20 top design books of 2015. For her latest venture, Windsor is building from the ground up. Titled 'The New Homefront,' she’s busy at work developing a new architectural template for the modern global family scheduled to debut in Fall 2017.
