Kincaid Furniture
It's been said that "things aren't made the way they used to be," but at Kincaid, that's not exactly true. While several enhancements have been made since the beginnings in 1946, solid wood construction, English-dovetails, and hand rubbed finishes are still used to craft wood furniture. The same can be said for the upholstery. Over the past 30 years, the Kincaid upholstery operations in western North Carolina have built quality, bench made upholstery one piece at a time. Like Kincaid's solid wood furniture, the upholstery has also benefited from a number of enhancements that continue to add value for the customer. At Kincaid Furniture, things are made the way they used to be, they may even be a little better.

Foundry Collection
Foundry's casual styling is both original and at the same time familiar. This merger is in part due to the natural character of solid wood mixed with styling elements and materials found in the workshops and machine rooms common in furniture and cabinet manufacturing. Foundry is constructed of solid Norwegian Spruce which has been wire brushed to give the wood an aged, lived-in texture. A multi-step finishing process adds depth and character with hand-rubbed burnished edges. That process accentuates the grain flow of the more dense grain patterns, creating a rich look only possible with solid wood. In addition to modern features like adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world solid wood furniture construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes
