Based in Galax, Virginia, Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company manufactures wood bedroom furniture. In 1919, two men, B.C. Vaughan and J.D. Bassett, Sr., both of whom were from Bassett, Virginia, first founded the company. Employing over 500 craftsmen in factories based in Galax, Virginia, the company is extremely proud of the fact that 100 percent of the furniture is crafted here in the United States by American employees. In fact, Vaughan-Bassett is now the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States. Bungalow Home Collection
The Bungalow Home Collection's classic lines are modeled after handmade pieces created in Ben Napier's Mississippi wood shop as seen on HGTV's Home Town. The collection mixes together classic cottage forms with timeless details. Made of North American hardwood solids and hand selected oak and cherry veneers, the style is understated and casual. Features include: French dovetail drawer construction, self-closing dual ball bearing guides, mortise and tenon construction for strength and stability, ultra-smooth acrylic finish on interior drawer sides and bottoms. Every tree used to create this collection is replaced with a new seedling in the mountains of Virginia. Made in the U.S.A
