Based in Galax, Virginia, Artisan & Post Furniture Company manufactures solid wood bedroom furniture. In 1919, two men, B.C. Vaughan and J.D. Bassett, Sr., both of whom were from Bassett, Virginia, first founded the company. Employing over 500 craftsmen in factories based in Galax, Virginia, the company is extremely proud of the fact that 100 percent of the furniture is crafted here in the United States by American employees. In fact, Artisan & Post is now the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States. Carlisle is made from Solid American Maple & Solid Birch with a heavily distressed and antiqued finish that makes every piece unique. English Dovetail Drawer construction with an ultra-smooth acrylic finish with piston activated whisper soft close guide system backed with a lifetime warranty. Mortise and tenon construction for strength and stability. Sustainability: Replace every tree used in the production of our product with the Virginia department of Forestry.
