As the dining space continues to evolve, a broader range of suitable furniture options is being considered. Care & Cleaning/Care of Finish - Finishes are naturally resistant to minor everyday hazards or accidents, however, some precautions are necessary to maintain the beauty of wood furniture.
(1) Dust with soft cloth slightly moistened with water. Always rub in the direction of the wood grain.
(2) Do not place beverages directly on furniture.
(3) Furniture should not be placed in direct sunlight.
(4) Remove any spills or smudges immediately.
It's been said that "things aren't made the way they used to be," but at Kincaid, that's not exactly true. While several enhancements have been made since the beginnings in 1946, solid wood construction, English-dovetails, and hand rubbed finishes are still used to craft wood furniture. The same can be said for the upholstery. Over the past 30 years, the Kincaid upholstery operations in western North Carolina have built quality, bench made upholstery one piece at a time. Like Kincaid's solid wood furniture, the upholstery has also benefited from a number of enhancements that continue to add value for the customer.
