In 1979, the Kauffman family joined together to learn more about furniture construction on their family farm. Son Kevin Kauffman and his uncle, John Mast, decided to start a business to connect traditional Amish workshops with a modern distribution network, and this became Simply Amish. They craft heirloom-quality furniture for the living room, dining room, bedroom, and home office, and most of their pieces are customizable.
