Based in Galax, Virginia, Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company manufactures wood bedroom furniture. In 1919, two men, B.C. Vaughan and J.D. Bassett, Sr., both of whom were from Bassett, Virginia, first founded the company. Employing over 500 craftsmen in factories based in Galax, Virginia, the company is extremely proud of the fact that 100 percent of the furniture is crafted here in the United States by American employees. In fact, Vaughan-Bassett is now the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States. The Crafted Oak bedroom collection, made from American Oak solids & veneers, utilizes the exclusive ATAP (Accelerate The Aging Process) process that accelerates the natural aging of the wood. The splits, knots, cracks, and bold grain pattern found in oak lumber combine to create a natural reclaimed look in this beautiful and unique bedroom collection. The collection features your choice of two bed styles, Ben's Poster bed & Erin's Upholstered bed, and three finishes. Every tree used to create this collection is replaced with a new seedling in the mountains of Virginia.
