The company is based in Galax, Virginia, and for decades has been focused primarily on wooden bedroom furniture. Today, Vaughan-Bassett is the largest manufacturer of wooden adult bedroom furniture in the United States. A point of pride: the company emphasizes that its furniture is made in USA by American craftsmen, using wood harvested near their manufacturing plants.
